Gangtok Peilling & Darjeeling Tour

Day 01 : IXB Airport / NJP Station To Gangtok ( 124 Kms / 4 Hrs Approx ) : Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP / IXB & transfer to Gangtok , The Capital Of Sikkim , Check in at hotel , rest of the day free for own activities .. , O/n stay Gangtok

Day 02 : Excursion Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir ( 55 Kms one way Approx ) : After breakfast excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet), a high-altitude lake that is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhist. According to the legends, Buddhist used to monks study the colour of lake's water to predict the future. Thereupon, you visit the Baba Mandir, which is approximately 55 km from Gangtok. Later continue to drive to Gangtok hotel for dinner and overnight stay. , O/n stay at Gangtok . P.S.: In the case of a landslide, Tsomgo Lake will remain closed, but a visit to the alternate place will be provided.

Day 03 : Gangtok To Lachung ( 110 Kms / 5.5 Hrs Approx : After breakfast you will be driving to Lachung, which is approximately 110 km from Gangtok. Check out from the hotel in Gangtok and proceed to Lachung (8,700 ft.), North Sikkim. The journey from Gangtok to Lachung will be a memorable one as you will be passing through some attractions like Naga Waterfall, Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) & Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall. On arrival at Lachung check into your hotel. Stay and dinner at the hotel. , O/n stay Lachung .

Day 04 : Excursion Yumthang Valley & Back : Post breakfast visit to Yumthang-Valley (Famous as Valley of variety of Rhododendron), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks & winter playgrounds of yetis, it is a paradise for all the nature lovers. Lush green forest, undulating hills , On the way back visit the Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 05 : Lachung To Gangtok : After breakfast leave for Gangtok. On the way stops between Singhik, Mangan and if the weather is clear you may get to see the Khangchendzonga Range. This location offers a majestic view of Mt. Pandim, Mt. Kabru, Mt. Simvo, Mt. Jopuno, Mt. Khangchendzonga and Mt. Siniolchu on a clear sky day. check in at the hotel. O/n stay at Gangtok.

Day 06 : Gangtok To Pelling Via Namch :After Breakfast transfer to Pelling .on way visit Namchi, literally translating as ‘top of the sky’ it is the South district headquarters and fast emerging as a tourist destination. set in a picturesque location, Namchi offers an unmatched view of the Khangchendzonga range and the Rangit valley. Here you can visit the Sherdup Choeling Monastery and the Dichen Choeling monastery. Visit Char Dham which is undoubtedly the most popular and the best tourist attraction in Namchi. It is located on a hill top and about 5kms from the town center. After visit drive to Pelling , O/n stay at Pelling.

Day 07 : Pelling Full Day Sightseeing : After breakfast leave for full day sightseeing tour covering in first half , Rimbi Water Falls, Kanchandzonga waterfalls , Khechepadi wishing Lake , Second half cover the Pemayangtse Monastery , Rabedentse Ruins (2nd capital of Sikkim ) , Tikjuk view point , Helipad ground. After visit return to hotel

Day 08 : Pelling To Darjeeling ( 128 Kms / 5.5 Hrs Approx ) : After breakfast Transfer To Darjeeling , Darjeeling is one of the most magnificent hills the world Check in at hotel , Rest of the day free , O/n stay at Darjeeling .

Day 09 : Darjeeling Sightseeing : After breakfast visit Tiger Hill visit Mt. Kanchendzonga ( depends on issuing Permit by Local Administration ) ,on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia , The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & PNZ Zoological Park ( both closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Self Help Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda & Ropeway ( operational ,ropeway ride cost to be paid by guest directly) , O/n stay Darjeeling

Day 10 : Darjeeling To IXB Airport / NJP Railway Station Drop: Morning free for packing & personal activities. After breakfast transfer to NJP Station or IXB Airport for return journey.
